Volvo Earns CSI Award for Sixth Consecutive Year

Come this year's annual International Boatbuilders' Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) Industry Breakfast in Miami, FL this October, Volvo Penta will be presented with a CSI Award for the sixth consecutive year by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA).

Volvo Penta was the only company to receive an award in the Sterndrive Engines Category and was recognized for achieving and maintaining an independently-measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction for the 2009 program year.

The award is based on information provided by consumers purchasing a new boat or engine during between April 1, 2008 and March 31, 2009. Participating manufacturers must survey all new boat buyers during this period. More than 60,000 consumer responses were collected for this reporting period.

“Our independent OEM customers are integral in helping us win this prestigious award for the sixth straight year, said thanks to their attention to detail in the application and installation of our products,” said Moore. “Equally important are our dealers who are on the front lines of safe guarding and ensuring our mutual customer satisfaction. Without them, this award would not be possible.”
