Walker Bay Boats has updated its Walkerbay.com website with product information for new and previous models, owner's manuals for 2011 products, and a revised dealer locator. Additional updates include links to ordering parts, service support for dealers, a search engine for quick searches of the entire site, the capability to create and distribute company newsletters, and front page links to Walker Bay's Facebook and Twitter pages which are updated semi-monthly.
The company notes that its new website is also fully compatible with portable electronic devices such as the iPhone and iPad. “Our new site allows us to quickly and easily update technical schematics when a product changes, or upload related outboard information if customers call in and place a request,” says Stephen Crosby, Walker Bay's Marketing Manager. The company notes that the new site is “only the first of several major updates” scheduled for the next four to six months.
“Walker Bay has undergone several major evolutions in the past 12 to 18 months, first in our manufacturing capabilities, then in our product designs, and now most recently in our marketing,” says Chris Carroll, Walker Bay's VP of Sales. “We realized early on in this transition that our customers were asking us for more frequent information, and for this information to be provided through a variety of channels. Our new site enables us to communicate the latest information in whichever manner our customers prefer.”
