Yamaha Motor Canada, Toronto, ON has announced its fall Right Here Right Now campaign, offering a consumer the chance to win a $10,000 shopping spree on yamaha-motor.ca. The promotion will run from September 8 to October 12.
“This promotion is in place to help our dealers sell some product and provide another incentive for people to choose Yamaha,” Danny Brault, public relations coordinator for Yamaha Motor Canada. “I think it's a great selling feature right now for people who are looking to go buy a new powersport product, that they have this opportunity to win a good chunk of cash.”
Consumers purchasing a new Yamaha WaveRunner, Sport Boat, or outboard during the contest's duration are entered to win. Consumers are also entered if they purchase a Yamaha motorcycle, scooter, ATV, snowmobile, side-by-side or power product.
Yamaha Canada's Right Here Right Now fall promotion follows the company's Win Your Yamaha promotion held in May. The winner of that promotion, Phillipe Gouger, won his purchase of a Yamaha F6 Outboard from Gregoire Sport, St. Ambroise de Kildare, QC.
“We also figured this would be a great way to get people to our website and show them everything that we're offering,” said Brault. “The dealers said our first promotion, Win Your Yamaha, went really well and saw value in it. They saw customers coming in asking about it. Our dealers did a great job setting up their showrooms, dressing things up to go along with the event. Once we had the final details for the Shopping Spree come in, dealers were calling us immediately asking for ad materials. When you see that kind of excitement, you know they're seeing the value and likely the customers do as well.”
To ensure the prize for its next contest would be larger, Yamaha's fall contest won't be limited to the value of the customer's purchase.
“We're even more excited with this new contest,” said Tim Kennedy, national marketing manager for Yamaha Motor Canada. “The first one was great but now everyone who purchases a Yamaha can win the same great prize of $10,000 to spend on whatever they want from our website.”
