Toronto, Ontario-based Yamaha Motor Canada announced a number of changes to its sales and marketing division. The changes include a several promotions as well as adjustments in responsibilities.
Jean-Francois (JF) Rioux has been promoted to Assistant National Manager, Outboard and Special Markets. Rioux will be responsible for managing special markets and outboards.
Dave MacDougall is now Manager, Special Markets. MacDougall will assume responsibility for developing Special Market Opportunities, Business to Business and OEM partners.
Chris Poirier has been promoted to Assistant Regional Sales Manager, Ontario. Poirier will manage Yamaha's Ontario District Sales Managers and support in achieving sales targets.
Rai Manno has been promoted to Senior District Sales Manager. Manno will continue as Eastern Ontario District Sales Manager and support the Regional and National Sales managers.
Chris Hawkins has been promoted to District Sales Manager – Central Ontario. Hawkins was previously Yamaha's Event Coordinator.
Dan Cochrane has been promoted to Senior District Sales Manager – Northern Alberta and British Columbia. Cochrane will continue as a district sales manager and support the Regional and National Sales members.
Tim Kennedy, National Manager, Marketing, will assume additional responsibilities in overseeing the sales of sport boats and water vehicles.
Norm Payeur and Ken Van Noort, Area Sales Managers for G3 boats, will now also assume responsibilities for sport boat and water vehicles.
Peter Swanton, National Manager Motorsport, OPE will now assume additional responsibilities in overseeing the sales of outdoor power equipment.
Bryan Hudgin has been promoted to Manager, Marketing. Hudgin is now responsible for overseeing all marketing functions.
