Yamaha Motor Co. Announces Organizational Reforms and Personnel Changes


Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., headquartered in Iwata, Shizuoka, Japan, has announced organizational reforms and adjusted the responsibilities of several general managers effective as of July 15.

Organizational changes – Corporate departments
The structural promotion work of Yamaha Motor's Group Company Internal Governance within the Group Management Division of the Human Resources and General Affairs Center will be transferred to the Integrated Auditing Division. In addition, the Group Management Division will be renamed the Risk Management and Compliance Division in order to clarify its function and roles as the central section of the group's risk management.

Changes in duties of General Managers
Chitoshi Saito becomes General Manager of CAE and Testing Engineering Division, Engineering Section, Marine Engine Business Unit, Marine Business Operations. Formerly, Saito was Manager of the above-mentioned divisions.    

Hiroshi Kitagawa becomes General Manager of Testing Division, Engineering Section, Motorcycle Business Operations.     

Toru Izumi becomes General Manager of Quality Assurance Division, Quality Assurance Section, Motorcycle Business Operations.     

Yasuo Tanaka becomes Senior General Manager of Quality Assurance Section, Motorcycle Business Operations.
    
Takehiko Fukuda becomes General Manager of Market Development Division 1, Overseas Market Development Operation Business Unit.     

Shigeto Mori becomes General Manager of Administration and Planning Division, Overseas Market Development Operation Business Unit.    

Hiroyuki Ota becomes General Manager of SMT Sales & Marketing Division, IM Business Unit, Business Development Operations.
